My journey began with a traineeship at a small animal clinic in South Australia straight out of school. From there I’ve worked across general practice and emergency and critical care, developing a deep passion for hands-on nursing and the difference it makes to a patient’s recovery.

After years in practice, I kept hearing the same thing from pet owners — they needed support at home. After surgery, during ongoing treatment, or simply for the things that are hard to manage alone. I saw a real gap between what clinics could offer and what pets and their owners actually needed once they walked out the door.
